The "Torrefazione Antonio Castorino" was founded in 1946 by a native of Sicily: Antonio Castorino and initially operated as a partnership with roasters from Messina and Turin.
His high quality blends were roasted on wood and soon spread as "Caffe Castorino" to the provinces of Basilicata and Campania and made "Caffe Castorino" well known in many other parts of Italy.
The 65-year long tradition Castorino Antonio's is continued to this day by his heirs with undiminished passion for classic Italian espresso.
